It's been years since I created this home page. I am not a social media person, however, I feel this is a good time to start posting pictures of both sculpture and functional work. Perhaps it is time to connect with people. I am in the process of setting up a home studio in my garage. I have purchased a kiln (yeah! finally) and a shop sink. I had a Brent wheel from a few years back, but because I did not have a kiln I seldom threw at home. At the moment, I am cleaning and organizing my garage so I can have the space for work. This is the plan (rough draft) to get behind the potter's wheel: 1. clean and organize my garage. I believe it will take about a month since I just moved in to this house that has a garage for a studio. 2. hire an electrician to wire the kiln. 3. get a venting system and hook it up. 4. have a plumber to put the sink in then I will install the clay trapping system. 5. set up a couple of tables and shelves for storage. 6. but first thing first...need to clean and organize my garage...
